I hate this! I'm trying to get into mountain biking but all my attempts at a getting a decent bike running isn't doing great and it's really pissing me off. First I managed to buy a cracked framedidn't notice the crack until I took the paint off). Now the crankset I bought is falling apart. The spider broke when I took the thing apart. Now I just noticed that the axle is BENT!!!

So the question is can I just take the bearing off and put it on a new axle?? The crankset is a MRP bones or do I have to deal with all that weird conversion thingymagig?

How did you remove and reinstall the cranks?
what does your spindle look like?

you're gonna need special tools to take apart your BB
yes, your axle could be bent; you need to take it to a shop and have them replace your bottom bracket or at least the spindle
watch and learn cause you will have to do it yourself someday
