Most people usually stay at the Pinnacle, right at the top of the mtn..

Ha, that's where his place is. The prices are fair but the "bro rate" is better. Hope to see ya, still unsure.
Tell them you are staying there for the race, they like bikers.
They don't like pets as much as they like bikers?
can you camp close or are there obscure spots to hide a tent in?
In the past you've been allowed to camp in the parking lot.
Any online or early registration?
http://www.bikereg.com/ type in Beech in the search and youll find all three races
Im saving the 3 dollar processing from bikereg so I can just give it straight to Beech instead of some online company. Hopefully every little bit counts to getting something going.
I camped at a campground across from sugar.
Haven't walked up the whole track but standing where I am now this trail is beautifully bedded in. Kudos to those who worked it.
Good time. Thanks to Chris, Danny, Talia, the Ski Patrol (Gil, Jane, Dave, etc.), the rest of the crew, and the racers. Can't wait for Nationals, then the other two races.
...... now, to processing images.
Yes, great weekend of racing!! Thanks to all the crew at Beech Mt.
To echo the above, special thanks to the Beech management & staff, and to all those who made these events a reality. Great weekend!
Awesome weekend!!! Thanks to everyone that made it happen.. Made the 9 1/2 hour drive home and now off to work.
I've torn something substantial in my knee while pedaling around up top just minutes before my run. A fence rail hidden in the tall grass. No idea how severe, but can't walk on it today and my race run was pure agony.
But I had so much fun all weekend. Congrats on an awesome trail, a legit bike lift and to God for the weather.
Sorry to hear that Butch. Heal up quick!
It was a great weekend and I had an awesome time! I thoroughly enjoyed both the Dual Slalom and DH tracks, outstanding job to Chris and all that helped get the tracks ready.
Teaser shot and this is just from the first couple of riders Sat morning:
What a hack. Great lens work, Jay!
Not as good as Jay's work but I got some of Slalom Qualifying : http://www.flickr.com/photos/psycle-on/
This was the most amusing one:
^ That's awesome!
Awesome photo! I'm glad I wasn't that guy bailing on Saturday.
If any of you photogs happen to come across any photos of me during Dual Slalom or DH, my number was 340, I'd sure love to get ahold of them and am willing to either pay for them or give kudos to you when I post them on my Facebook, my sponsor's profile, and website.
Let me know!
