I did a rail repair job a while ago - I got hit by a car and it messed up my saddle. It was my most comfy saddle (WTB SST/K) so I was loathe to just throw it away.
I got a propane torch and heated up the rail 'til it was soft enough (i.e. glowing bright red) and bent it back into shape with a Vise Grip, then quenched it. That was about 3 years ago and it's still goin strong!
The only trick, is that when the rail gets hot, it'll start to melt the saddle. So you have to so what I did and have your girlfriend keep a steady stream of water pouring on the end of the rail where it touches the seaddle, to keep it cool.
Good luck!
BTW I don't know much about Ti, it might have a MUCH higher temperature, and it might not react well to cooling? I plunged mine in water when I was done to do a sorta ghetto temper. I dunno if it actually took a temper or not, but like I said, going strong after a few years says enough.
