More reputable.......totally agree. The complete is a pretty smokin deal but the frame price seems fairly standard, I would much rather go with the race proven and more reputable Transition over the upstart (not to mention uglier) thing posted above. You could probably get away with buying the complete, stripping it and selling the frame and still coming away on top.
2010 Boxxer Team
Avid Elixir
E13 SRS+
X9 Der shifter
Boobar
Alex Rims
Division (?) pedals
That stuff alone would cost well over 1000 then you could sell the (unused) frame for a little less than what it retails for and voila, sweet build kit for a better frame.
I thought everyone around here was kona haters?local bike shop sold the stab to me for $2700.00 brand new with a camelback mule, 2 pair of gloves, a hoodie, spare tubes, and a baseball cap. bang bang

I'm happy to let anything that I work on stand on it's own. If it's no good, OK, I can deal with that, the next one will be better. Reputation is only as good as your last project as far as I'm concerned. You guys crack me up, if dw helped create this design, it would be the best ever.

Plus, if I made it, I think I would have done away with the extra seatstays and link and just made it like the Devinci Wilson. Seems like a lighter way to do things but hey, what do I know. If this bike gets more kids into DH because of it's low price then I am all for it.

tues = tu es (german) = do itIt's pretty funny they called it Tues Downhill. Wonder if its supposed to be Tuesday? Which in that case makes absolutely no sense. Sunday, I get. Saturday is stretching it. But Tuesday, race is over, everyones gone home except for the people left to clean the mountain.
Thx for the brief translation.also the german mtb magz show how gr8 their bikes r, they always get a 9/10 or 10/10 for their bikes hav a look on the YT web, u will find pdf.s of them on their
i dont think so...This is what me and Norbar are talking about. German Bike Mag makes comparisons of bikes from different leagues and they come out with some silly conclusions.
What's the point of putting aside i.e. Specialized and Rockrider?! In 99% of cases Spec will be better bike... because it's a better product. Sometimes, they compare bikes with SRP different with hundreds of euros.
And sometimes, they (Bike Mag) find a bike, not even made, but just put together by some local brand and on base of some weird assumptions and criterias, they come to the conclusion that brand X bike is better than Spec, Trek, Scott, Giant, etc... brands with years of experience.
