I'm considering going rigid for the 2010 contest season (Ranch Style, Teva, Crankworx Colorado Best Trick)... Nothing too big drop-wise. Teva had an 8' drop to start and an 8'-10' to finish, Ranch Style is about the same. I'm a bigger guy, 5'11", 210... I'm also primarily a bmxican, so rigid just works for me. What rigid forks with 20mm should I be looking at? So far the DMR Trailblade is looking nice. Any suggestions?

Identiti rebate 1420 is really nice. I am running the Dob Tchokr fork now which is also a 20mm.

I still have the rebate laying around, steerer tube is cut to 6 5/8" I would let it go pretty cheap

The DMR is nice and heat treated. Rebate has better fab... IMHO the dobermann fork is the best. Call them they can make one with 20mm if you need it. I have a dmr 3/8 fork I would sell you cheap... I rode it for a few months until I got a great deal on the dobermann.

For the plan you have this summer you will need a strong fork.
None of our regular production fork came back.
We are amazed by how tough they are. We will back these fork no mater what...even if the warranty is expired.

They are available in 20mm, but IMO the best setup is 10mm and BMX hub.

The only down side is that, they are made with love and pride in Canada, so yes, they are a bit more pricy then other forks on the market.
But they will last more then a season or two no problem.

If you have some questions, send me a email at : dobmaster@dobermannbikes.com

Cheers!

We can do custom.
''non-suspension corrected 26"'' Dosent mean anyting really...
Check what axle to crown you need and we can do it.

We have sold many of our stock forks to fixed gear riders.(Im guessing that's what your freind is riding)
We have 427mm and 450mm axle to crown as stock forks...and we can do customs.

Also, a 20mm front is far superior if you use a front brake. The torque put on the axle by a front brake can cause the smaller axles to move around.
edit: (front DISC brake)

this is a Volume Sledgehammer. 26" bmx, not fixed ! that's the Volume Cutter.
