Haven't posted up here in awhile, but I thought I'd come back with a bang

You 'frisco guys/girls, I'm looking for the best sushi spot in san francisco...for valentine's day....:love:

Any info you've got, sushi to definitely try @ the recommended place, pricing, etc etc would be great.

I had a good pile o' sushi at Takara in Japantown over the weekend. Fantastic scallops, yellowtail, tune, salmon - everything was pretty tasty, especially the scallops.

Ebisu is the perennial favorite for many, it's on 9th Ave near Irving (Sunset). Always packed though so be prepared for a not-so-romantic wait.

Grandeho's Kamekyo on Cole Street is really good too.

Chaya on the embarcadero is more of a date place, it's a combo sushi bar/steakhouse. I've only been for drinks but have heard the sushi is good stuff.
