That's a great deal. I haven't tried the Code 5's yet. However, I am really happy with the regular Code brakes that I used this past year. So happy that I will be using the exact same brakes next year. No need to buy new every year.
Also, I have used several versions of Hayes and and a set Hope Mono4's each for at least a full season and I think that the Codes are much better. They have better modulation than Hayes and more stopping power than the Hopes. They are also more reliable than either of those too. I didn't even need to bleed them all year.

Agreed on the Codes! Best thing to do on them is get them re-bled before using them, as about half of them come from tha factory with air in them it seems, but once you do that, they are the best brakes ever! I have last years models as well, have been running them for almost a year without one problem, & damn they are powerfull
Depends on how much cash you have. You can find Hayes incredibly cheap lots of places. I ran hayes for a long time and they were okay. Nothing extraordinary, not as bad as some people say.
Juicys are the next thing. They are a bit pricier, but probably worth it. You can find sets on ebay or the classifieds here for pretty cheap. Codes are generally more. Haven't owned a set, so I couldn't say if they are worth it, but my Juicys have been great.
