What about one of the Sette frames from Pricepoint.com??

The XC version is something like $499 isn't it - with a swinger shock I believe. Looks like a decent 4 bar fs design to me.

Or what about looking at Wheelworld where I think Rob and Beth got their konas - they usually have good deals on frames.

Till I build something up it will be cheaper to buy a complete.
Wheel World has some good deals I'm checking out now.

I like scott bikes but none of the bikes they have there quite fit what I'm looking for.
