What about one of the Sette frames from Pricepoint.com??stosh said:I have new information, he is willing with my help to build a bike from scratch!!
He does want NEW or OEM parts.
So we have a 1500 budget and he really wants an SPV shock and disc brakes, any suggestions?
Till I build something up it will be cheaper to buy a complete.MMcG said:What about one of the Sette frames from Pricepoint.com??
The XC version is something like $499 isn't it - with a swinger shock I believe. Looks like a decent 4 bar fs design to me.
Or what about looking at Wheelworld where I think Rob and Beth got their konas - they usually have good deals on frames.
I've heard very mixed reviews about that place anyways...stosh said:Wow that Wheelworld site has some great deals. Thing is they don't have the bike in the size I need. F'ing crap!!!
Care to elaborate?jacksonpt said:I've heard very mixed reviews about that place anyways...
some people have had very good experiences buying from them, some have had really lousy ones. Do some searching on here... there have been threads.stosh said:Care to elaborate?

I like scott bikes but none of the bikes they have there quite fit what I'm looking for.
Thanks for the help though.
I hate that frame design. That Mars fork on the one bike is like 3yrs old.MMcG said:Those Marins they have are nice bikes.
That's what I was thinking.MMcG said:Mars fork?
Skarebs or Axels on em.
you may hate the design but the bike is for your friend, not you. right?
Yeah but it seems a little old.Tame Ape said:How much? Looks like a pretty robust bike.
