this is the lower end of the retail pricing, so yes it is possible to get the 7 point 3 for under $2K , depending on if the dealer is willing to swap out some parts.

You can also get any Yeti as a frame only.
 
1. the FSR is a nice pedaler.
2. the 24 unch wheel is nice in the stwwp climbs because you can compensate for the weight by the x-tra torque.
3. goes down sweet.
4. may i sugest gettin a swinger shiok o back.

i have th old 8 inch travle one and the shocks and rear hub are the only aparent difference.

5. it has a sweet paint job
6.rides smooth as butter.
you should definatly get one.

I've pretty much given up on the Specialized big hit, too many mixed reviews on here about that bike. Some say its a good pedaler, some say it isn't, and everyone says its heavy as hell.

You've got a lot of demands for what you want to pay, which is fine but tough. You would need to wait a little bit for a 7.7 anyway, so maybe save a bit more cash and go for it. Or get a pimp used asx. If you really want to pedal, don't get anything heavier or with more travel than an asx...
