OK, so we're finally going to take a day at Whistler and hit a XC trail instead of the park over the 4th of July. We want to ride Comfortably Numb and I'd like to hear some recommendations on which bike to take, my Superlight or my Coiler?
I rode it on the SL and did just fine. Though the Coiler will work for some of the steeper sections but cost you in weight over the long haul..
SL for sure. You'll do fine.
Yeah I've ridden RRTI and would definitely take the Coiler for that. I was mainly thinking about the weight for Comfortably Numb since I hear it takes 4-6 hours. I don't mind climbing on the Coiler, but if the descent doesn't merit it I'd rather take the Superlight.
OK, the Superlight it is. Is 6 hours a realistic time if we go at a moderate pace with some picture taking along the way? Are there some fun TTFs to session along the way, or is it mainly technical XC?
