I was riding my bike around Santa Cruz by the beach and couldn't believe it but there it was. A sign that said Bikes Only. No skateboards or skates. There is a lot of cool stuff. Roll in to two box jumps to curved wall ride to some other stuff looks totally fun. Half pipe and other stuff. The workers there said it will be open this weekend. The link below has a picture of the park. It is right by the boardwalk by the pier.

All I have to say is wow. This place has been around for years and no bikes were ever allowed. It looks like they have added a TON of new stuff too. So awesome. =]

I'm stoked. Not this weekend, but maybe the following weekend will require me to borrow a bike from someone and go have some fun. I'd expect to see a lot more 20's than 26's, but nonetheless... I'm super excited to see them open this up to bikers ONLY.

P.S. I used to roller blade there. The skateboarder to roller blader ratio was always... well... 1 to infinity.
