Sunday drawing to a close for me, spent the day at my bike shop.
Just coming into winter here so it was pretty dead. :(
So I'm consoling myself with a pint of craft beer and a home made pizza then an early night.

.:585:.
Morning.

Meeting up with a bunch of buddies for a trail ride in a few hours. It's still fairly cold outside but should be almost 40* by the time we all meet up

Howdy all. Wife is out at the laundromat doing laundry as I watch the (still-sleeping) baby. I hope she doesn't roll through a turn on red as she did three weeks ago, for which offense we just got the red light ticket this past week.

Finally got a chance to ride the new bike. Jeebus. I am out of shape...also, I installed my dropper.

Not sure I'm sold yet. Being out of shape is likely an contributing factor, but the thing also isn't working right.

Dang.

Played some surprisingly fun games of laser tag yesterday with a few peeps. We then proceeded to stay up way too late last night hosting an little ice cream social. I now feel like the Goodyear blimp. Time to go put a couple hours in the saddle to atone for my fatassedness last night.

try it now!
Why I oughtta...

Good morning.

Peach: the bike isn't working right, or the post?

The post. It works great in the parking lot, but it seems to need to be unweighted before hitting the trigger for it to drop. I haven't had time to read up and see what to do about it yet. If it persists, ill get rid of it.

My fitness level right now prevents my really getting any real benefit out of the post anyway.

Quite a piss off about the post though...

Maybe moar air?

where the trails are
which post did you get again?
I have the Reverb, which is 'finicky' at best. When it works it's awesome, but it often needs some tweaking.

I got the KS LEV.

I read all kinds of good things about them...

Ah well. I'm already becoming un-sold on the dropper concept.

I dunno. I'll give it another few rides and see what happens.

Slightly afternoon monkeys.

Got a possible date tonight, looking forward to that. Got some funny drunk texts last night from a chick from a few months back. Wish I could ride today, but that won't happen. I did weigh in at 209 this morning, I don't feel that skinny.

As you were.

Nah, it's just a pain in the @ss at the moment.
My dropper is the best completely unnecessary piece of gear I've ever bought.
Once you get it dialed in you'll love it.
Looks like i just needed to reverse the little hook at the post connection point of the cable, and take a little slack out of it.

Bob is now my uncle.

Unfortunately, the bash ring I bough along with the post (a 36T), is too small. Apparently my Yeti came with a 38T front ring. What am I? Lance Lopes?

Glad you got the Lev working, I've had mine a few months now and love it on a trail bike.
