also, my "road" bike is a nashbar special frame/fork wheels, with mtb brakes and derailleur. accepts big tires so i get some microknobbies for some of the mixed surface rides around here and when i visit my parents.
Well I for one think gravel bikes are cool, way better than road bikes. Even though they’re the same thing, mostly.
Nah - ain't seen any on trails yet. Just wandering around town for the most part.
Of course, I've not really seen *any* other bikes on the trails since I've been here, except for the one dude today on my lunch ride...
Mine is a CX from BeyondBikes with upgraded cranks and road tires for commuting.
It still has flat pedals on it because I don't have any fancy shoes.
So i shouldn't divulge that if I sell my DH bike I'll likely fill the void with a grvl bike?

HT Ti 29ers that run either rigid or front squish. Used for our "adventure" riding.

Wife is my riding partner and if her riding is curtailed by the recent arthritis diagnosis in her thumb, DH is first to get cut.
So, I had the one surgery for arthritis on my left thumb, and it has been life changing in a great way. I will definitely do the right sometime. It’s amazing, pain 100% gone.
