Last year I held an undergound urban DH race in Boston in the middle of the night. We bombed through street intersections at 30+mph and swerved through peoples backyards, and a good time was had by all.
So this year we did it again but with a totally different course. We went out and covertly cut some short trails through a public park and linked them all up for about 1:15 of legitimate downhill right in the middle of Boston. This time it was early on a Sunday morning before anyone was really out in the park.
The pictures are pretty lame as there was nothing real gnarly on the course. I just thought people might be pumped to see we were able to pull this off on our own without getting shut down by the cops or anything.
Afterwards, everyones 5$ entry fee went towards a beer ball (which was cracked at around 11:45 AM), burgers, and a whopping 10$ first place cash prize, which went along with some sweet home-made trophies.
Here are the results:
-Pos - Name - Run 1 - Run 2
1 Brian Piper 1:10.97 / 1:10.91
2 Joey Appleton 1:16.90 / 1:11.50
3 Adam King 1:13.31 / 1:11.60
4 Mike Carpentier 1:14.38 / 1:16.0
5 Scuba Steve 1:18.16 / 1:15.17
6 Sean Curran 1:17.59 / 1:15.38
7 Lawndart 1:29.68 / 1:18.37
8 Justin Wells 1:19.60 / DNS
9 Craig 1:21.19 / 1:41.46
10 Esteban 1:22.56 / 1:38.28
11 Chris Provost 1:33.66 / 1:23.09
12 Pat Duffey 1:27.19 / 1:23.91

And here is a ****ty helmet cam preview of the course so people could figure it out and come up and practice it beforehand:
