I have been rocking my Brocket for a while with a Swinger 4way coil and love it. I use it mostly as my trail bike with the occaisonal 4/5 foot drop and also plan to do some more dirt jumping. I am thinking about trying a DHX Air on this bike to lighten it up a bit (will be also going to XT cranks). I would probably still be rocking the coil at Whistler. I also have an '05 Z1 FR1 on the front, weigh about 185lbs and am NOT smooth as Mandown and others can attest.

Any experiences with this frame/shock combo? Thanks.

I have a DHX air setup on my BR, gotta say I enjoy it....in fact, my brother thinks its more plush and soft than his own progressive 5th that he has on his Heckler....

DO IT!

I have a DHXAir on mine, and have to say I'm impressed so far. I weigh the same as you.
Haven't hit anything too big yet, though, maybe five feet? Good for what you want.
From previous Fox experience, I'm expecting it to not last too long, so we'll see how it holds up. Maybe it'll surprise me.
