It's interesting to see so many people loyal to King, even though their headset design is fundamentally flawed...

Personally I like Shimano cranks, I've had very good luck with them.
Tioga MX-Pro pedals, they just work.
Avid Juicy-series brakes. Had a set for 2+ year, never bled them once.
Shimano Dura-Ace chains. I always run them, and they outlast most everything else.

All the other stuff on my bike I like but cant say I wouldn't consider buying something different when I replace them.

In a Van(couver) down by the river
Sinister bikes (I've got 2, a Splinter MX & a Ridge, and would definitely buy another of Frank's amazing creations)
Saint cranks
SRAM (drivetrain, Avid brakes, RS forks)
Fox rear suspension (DHX5)
Thomson posts
Bontrager Big Earl / King Earl wheels
Big Earl tires

All of these are products I have owned or currently own and either have purchased more than once or would without hesitation again.

Commencal - reliability and simply more fun than anything else I've ridden (mini DH)
TLD has been fairly good to me (shorts gloves and knee pads)
Maxxis nuff said
SRAM drivetrains
Rock Shox, I still can't believe my pike is alive and ticking, no creaks or anything
so far avid over hayes and shimano for brakes
Chromag, parts have been pretty bombproof and look sweet
Mavic rims

True enough, it seems, for DH and long-travel bikes (though not everyone has problems there). But for other applications they are awesome. Just like Thomson- solid, durable, great company, warranty policy.

SDG I-beam stuff.
Juicy 7 stoppers (looking forward to trying the Elixirs).
New gen X.9 for shifting.

Notables: Fox, Morewood, Maxxis

Thats about it, everything else is subject to change when ever I need or can afford it. It is fun to mix things up.

I forgot to say that I'm pretty loyal to Fox. *BUT*, I'm building a new FR bike and since they don't have a single crown 180mm fork, I'm kinda SOL. If they had one, I'd use it (...are you listening Fox???...).

my interests and ideas change so much that it's hard to have the same parts over and over again. and it's fun to mix things up and try new stuff. over the years I've moved from bmx to dh, then fully rigid ssers, back to bmx, to long travel trail bikes, back to dh, back to ss, etc. maybe I just have ADD, but it keeps things fresh and interesting

A few more:

-Pedros plastic tire levers. We have them in the shop and I've only seen 1 break. Lifetime warranty too.

-Pedros allen wrenches. They're affordable and work well.

-Specialized Air Tool Pro pump. Only pump I know of that doesn't feel like crap in 6 months, and it's got a pressure release button for easy to dial-in pressure.

I had a really good customer service experience with Rocky Mounts today. I'd buy from them again.

I can't think of anything on my bike I'm unhappy with. Everything has been great.
