I wraped my rear derraillur up into my spokes on the Kona yesterday hitting a jump...grrr....but the question does anyone know how to prevent this?? I have heard that running in a higher gear will help.
turn the low-gear limit screw in (clockwise) about a quarter turn... or lock out gear #1 completely...
the range adjustment screws are on the back (shimano) or side (sram) of the deraileur, and there are 2 side-by-side... usually labelled h (high) and l (low)... you want to play with the "low" screw
