These are being bought for next season.

However, I'm curious if it is worth spending up to the Ti axles.
I know it is a little silly, but I run "built" bikes because I ride hard.
So, saving a little weight here and there would be nice.

So my question is: does anyone know the weight of these pedals with Ti axles? Neither the US or UK site lists weight other than steel.

The Ti axles are not only lighter, but even stronger. I've got a set on my pedals, and I didn't weigh them, but they definitely felt like a bit of weight savings.

The Ti axles are not only lighter, but even stronger.

Every other Ti pedal spindle is weaker than its steel counterpart. Many have weight limits. Are you sure the Burgtec Ti is as strong or stronger?

40g=.088 pounds. not sure that is worth the extra $50.
