I've been thinking about buying a new bmx complete.
I was looking at the Specialized fuse 1, a lbs carries one for $270

    what do you guys think?

For $270 that seems good. If you go pick up the newest issue of BMX Plus they did a review on the Fuse 3. I'm sure they share some of the same parts so you can at least read about it first. They've got too many spacers under that stem in that stock pic imo.

or you can shell out $50 more and get a stolen wrap, mine has been pretty nice so far once i fixed the creaking noise. it wasn't even the headset actually, it was the downtube gusset, i just sprayed in a little tri-flow and it was gone.

i know a guy who bought one of those and took him forever to learn trick due to its geometry, its a nice bike but really depending on what you want to do i think its more suited for trails than street.
