You win.no. the XV is an impreza with a lift kit, some different body trim, and different wheels/tires
But, either way the headlights are ugly as hell.

You could offset the headlights with a nice muffler with a 4" tip.You win.
But, either way the headlights are ugly as hell.
No more 5 door WRX, but the base Impreza yes. However, not sure if they still make a 5 door Impreza.
It'll come....Still makes me sad
would love a Ferrari, but not practical here. it's like owning a boat for amount of time used. my preference is an Aston Martin DB9.A lot of people on RM seem to like ferraris and 911s, they post a lot of pictures of them. you should consider one. Upside-down Corvettes are also all the rage.
Yes get a Jeep. Quality has only gone up since Fiat hat taken over.In sept I plan to either get a Grand Cherokee or a 4-door Wrangler. The girls want the Wrangler....so do I really... but I am leery about the leaky roof.
Maybe you should consider a safer option? Every Jeep I have ever test drove had awful brakes, poor handling, awful shifting. They are just awful vehicles. In sept I plan to either get a Grand Cherokee or a 4-door Wrangler. The girls want the Wrangler....so do I really... but I am leery about the leaky roof.
My MIL called and wanted to know if we wanted her Liberty with 106,000 miles on it.I am sure Mmike will make the right decision. I mean look at his solid Jeep Liberty purchase, who are we to question his reasoning?
In all seriousness, both of those are crap vehicles. You haven't let that dissuade you in past purchases, though. Just wanted to get this out for the record/for later "ha ha" threads. In sept I plan to either get a Grand Cherokee or a 4-door Wrangler. Yet another post reported. In all seriousness, both of those are crap vehicles. You haven't let that dissuade you in past purchases, though. Just wanted to get this out for the record/for later "ha ha" threads.
I would definitely recommend a NEWer Grand Cherokee. Drove a Limited in CO last summer for 9 days and I came home with serious car envy.In sept I plan to either get a Grand Cherokee or a 4-door Wrangler. The girls want the Wrangler....so do I really... but I am leery about the leaky roof.
Why worry about a leaky roof when you can just take it off? Roofs are for losers and people like jimmydean who use them as skid plates. In sept I plan to either get a Grand Cherokee or a 4-door Wrangler. The girls want the Wrangler....so do I really... but I am leery about the leaky roof.
totally. my wife has one, it's a nice vehicle. but it's a wagon only in marketing speak.Subaru does not even make a wagon anymore. The outback is a bloated suv trying to look like a wagon.
Ha, it is a hatchback that tries to look like a wagon. I actually like the look of that car. That would have beentotally. my wife has one, it's a nice vehicle. but it's a wagon only in marketing speak.
does this mean my impreza is a hatchback and not a wagon?
call it what you will i really like it. even with a "boring" cvt.Ha, it is a hatchback that tries to look like a wagon. I actually like the look of that car. That would have been
a good base to build the wrx on, but that pooped down their leg on that one.
Bolded for the only thing that matters.call it what you will i really like it. even with a "boring" cvt.
you'd still need a dual hinged back trunk gate doorThat is a couple of wood panels away from you being Clark Grizwald.
Jeeps are perfectly cromulent vehicles.
my 2001 Cheorkee in Seattle was fantastic
the 2004 Liberty was a piece of shit. But it was a company car.
The 2003 WJ my ex still drives had its issues....which were finally traced to a wiring harness being eaten by a mouse. Once that got sorted out, it's been good. It runs like shit now because she doesn't take care of it. The only thing Jeep can be accused of is making their wiring too delicious.
Jeeps are the nicest SUVs out there.
You're missing a turboI am enormously underwhelmed by what's out there for >$35k. Coming off a '12 Outback with the boring 4cyl and even boring-er CVT. Going to drive one with the 6 this weekend and see if it's any less boring. Any other ideas for not-boring, wagon-y things?
I can't even look at that Cherokee nightmare without my gorge coming up and burning my throat and nostrils with bile and half-digested Chipotle.
Or go the even more subtle route and get a Golf R. Enough room for the kid and a dog, beer in the back and a bike on the rack. Its safe too, all wheel drive will be great for the family!Fool why not get a Golf GTI with only one child isn't plenty space even for the family roadtrip?
