Wonder if they'll come out with matching spinners to go with it, and a suede seat...

Jeep and GMC have bikes, why not cadillac.

I wish Hyundai would come out with one with a 100,000 mile tire to tire waranty

The only way one of those bikes would be worth it is if you were buying a Cadillac and it came with it.

Don't you love how non-bike companies buy someone's frame, paint it different and brand it with their logo, and that makes it worth more?

24 spokes on that all mountain bike, I'd go though those wheels in about two weeks at the most. Keep the corporate sh!t off the trails.

cadillac didn't make those wheels. they are alex. they make decent stuff for their pricepoint. in case you didn't notice sh!t like that is happening on a LOT of xc race wheels nowadays. check shimano's website.

I just talked to a guy that sells them because after I read this thread I was intrigued. I sold my Giant Faith 3 (great for the $) to pay for some college related issues. I live in WV and there are some great places to ride a DH or FR but I really think that I would do better on an AM or XC. So, I need a moderate priced AM or XC (about $1000.) KHS does actually make the frame says he. They have a great warranty and the parts that come on the AM 2.7 are nice for the money other than the mechanical brakes and the Radium rear shock (no lockout, yeah I'm a nube!) Nixon's are some pretty serious forks, and everything else is more than sufficient. I'm going to ride it like I stole it until the wheels fall off!

I saw someone riding around on one of the AM bikes. He had the fork mounted backeards.

Wow!!! What an unbiased, independent review of their bike, and only your first post!!! You should work for them in some capacity!

Just to reconfirm what someone else already posted, The cadillac AM bike, is a KHS AM frame with a new paint job. It is actually a good riding AM bike, Very similar to the older FR frame, which I beat the holy hell of for three years, its a tough, durable frame, and yes the wheels only have 24 spokes, but they were made for all mountain, not freeride or dh. If you need something tougher, a Set of Outlaws are always a good bet.

I already own that bike. Its the same as the AM frame Sette at price point is selling and that is made by Asstro in Taiwan. So nothing really special at all.

Example A.

They at least got the overpriced part down.....
Yeah, if you consider somthing that was never made avaliable to the general public expensive. I guess it would take an obscene amount of money to get one....
