Cannondale Six13, or something...

So I think that unfortunately my beloved "winter/rain" bike is a size small. I've been doing some measurements alongside my other bikes, and I was sent the 56cm, not the 58. I've been making it work, mostly, but going back and forth with my C50 it's pretty obvious the fixes are bandaids.
So I need something with a bit more TT, and I'm kind of looking for the frame I was first considering: a Cannondale Six13.
Something (mostly) alloy that I don't really care too deeply about would be best. Anybody have any suggestions, or a Six13 in 58cm they want to part with? :)

You should not be allowed to talk about your bikes without posting pics  And no, I don't have a frame of that size

I've posted pics of it before.
Here's a crappy shot of it is with new tires (25c), tape, and saddle (Prologo Scratch Pro), all in red of course.

Maybe just a CAAD9 or something, just alloy. No full carbon anyway.

Italian bikes are fine by me. CAAD9s are pretty sweet.
We'll see, if I don't come across anything else interesting soon, it'll probably be the Concorde. Cheaper that way.

It's a problem for sure. Something in my brain tells me there needs to be nice stuff on all of my bikes. Gets kind of expensive sometimes though...

NOOOOOO!!!!! you can't build up MY Concorde!!! i told you i'd take it off your hands if you didn't plan on using it. and now your gonna use it as a beater!!! DAMMIT!!!! such a nice looking frame set too, what a waste!! can't you just use one of those Colnago's you teased us with from Interbike?!?!?

I actually might just build up this thing:

It's carbon, but it's been sitting for a while, so why not?

Well, it's not quite a production bike, so it can't really go anywhere, and it's kind of the Veltec livery, which has limited appeal I think.
I'm actually leaning towards making this thing a bit nicer, SRAM Red I think, so it won't be the rain bike I was thinking, that would be a shame, I agree.

I still want to find a CAAD9 Cannondale frame or something for the wet weather...

Craigslist around here is pretty haggard, I'm keeping an eye out, no rush I guess, I'm making the Easton frame work for now.
It is a pretty cool frameset, things like the integrated BB, the DT is so wide it has to change shape to clear the chainrings, things like that are hard to show off in pics. I'll keep you posted, if I ever move on there won't be a place for it in the stable most likely. We do have a Gran Fondo team over at our Benelux office, they ride the same paint job.
Which Colnago? The IBike ones aren't mine unfortunately, but I'm rocking a CX-1 right now, I love it, but the nice bikes stay inside when it's crappy out.

I've got an eye out, tons of 54s and 56s, but nothing for us tall freaks. I'm kind of picky about what I want ideally, but I'm willing to comprimise. Ideally a Six13 in the raw/carbon color, or the red/carbon, or a CAAD9 with no paint. If it's painted I'm gonna have it stripped to the bare metal, because that's the cool look.
At least to me.
The System Six in the bare alloy is cool too, but a bit more than I need for a shi!t bike...

it was from your post on Wheel Porn. it started out as you changing out wheelsets and someone asked what was going to happen to them and that snowballed into a huge firesale of carbon wheelsets and frames. i think they were the CX-1's and i know i put in my request for one and Ire did too i think.

Ohh yeah, we're in the process of selling some off right now, first shots went to the reps, then some dealers, I'll see what's left and send you guys a PM.

Thanks! I'm pretty f'n stoked...
Where are you out of again? I'll keep you posted for sure.
I live in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa and work near Tustin. Some of the best riding is coming up over the next several months with the weather cooling down and the rains giving the trails some much needed traction.

Right on. I looked in Costa Mesa, but honestly the sprawl was freaking me out a bit, and I'd rather be a shorter distance by bike than commuting too much in LA again by car.

Man, I haven't been on dirt in over a year! I'll have to ease back into it...

Oh yeah, the suburbia known as my local neighborhood. After spending 20+ years of my life in it, you kind of get numb to it. Good on you for commuting.

Hmm, I suppose I do ride road too...

In case you haven't been there, socaltrailriders.org is our local board.

I'll have to check the board out. My buddy who works there already does a lot of MTB, so I'm sure I'll be back in it in no time.
