SoFA is working with the Army Corp for National Public Lands Day.

Sept. 29-30 at Carters Lake.
Free camping and lunch and dinner will be provided courtesy of the USACE and EMBA ( the ellijay sorba chapter )

We'll be building a new DH run as well as starting a Dual Slalom, which we are hoping to have ready to add to our racing series.

Bring Shovel / work gloves / bike
we'll have a dingo and a bobcat or excavator to do the heavy work but will need help shaping jumps / berms and stuff

sunday it's hard to say, we want to make as much use of the machines as possible while we got em out there.
Usually we head to the mexican karoake place by around 6p.

hopefully a lot of the tread will be cut before we get there on friday

If anyone can join in please do. We are going to have some heavy equipment to do a ton of work. Our goal is to finish or at least get 90% of the beginner DH trail done, only with final touches and shaping left to do.
