Oh, I am racing Sunday.

I am just not riding much before the race to hopefully avoid getting hurt. And after the race I am done for the season.

Haha!

I heard you had a good ride with Ben on Sunday. Jealous. =\ And its only going to get worse when I am out for recovery. =[
yeah. I just discovered that when I hit a certain rock drop at the bottom of a certain trail that my bottom bracket is too low and I end up hitting my toe on the ground now. I can't wait to order a 951.

Damn! Ben did the same thing before the last cccx. Looks like it got him pretty good. Thats also the same place where I slipped a pedal and nailed my shin.

Watch out for those rock drops.

You're killing me... Sunday right? I've gotta see if the woman will let me free. I'm going to Pacifica Saturday, so two days of DH might be a bit much for her.

Joker,

I might have my DH bike up and running if you'd like to borrow that. I'm 165-170 with gear and it's setup pretty darn well for me. I just need to pull the coil-side leg of the fork apart and see what the heck scratched up my stanchion like a mo-fo at Northstar last weekend.

Thanks Mike, I'm a big boy at 210, so it's a bit undersprung for my fat ass. Josh's bike felt great when I rode it around, just too short in the cockpit (hence the stem length).

IF I can make it down, I'll let you guys know.

CCCX DH Series Final Course Profile-
The race route for the final race of the 2009 CCCX Spring/Summer Downhill Series descends approx. 1000 vertical feet in just over 1& 1/2 miles. The speeds riders will attain should be extremely rapid for the entire route. The course commences on a fast fire road featuring roller coaster like sections down a beautiful ridge line above the Toro Park canyons. The trail then dips and drops into single track trails that are full of switch backs turns on hard packed surfaces. More drops and more turns lead to the finish area where shaded sections provided by oak trees and Monster Energy drinks await the riders. Series prizes will be awarded following the day of race awards that reward the best riders in each division. It will be a excellent DH test of skill and bike for all riders. Happy 4th of July!

HAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHA.

F*CK that's awesome.

"I'm so pretty" FTMFW!!!!

My buddy Grant was taking tons of photos. I'm about 1/6th of the way to uploading them all on my Photobucket. I'll post the link and the password later. Here's what everyone needs to know:

The pictures are in order taken, NOT RACE NUMBER ORDER.

All photos start with DSC and will be followed by numbers. Here are the numbers that correspond to your photos (this is for the peeps that I know)

Aaron: 676-679
Josh:686-693
Ben: 694-698
Brian D.:699-706
Kelly: 707-713
Victor: 714-719
Mike B.: 758-769
Brian H.: 770-777
Ian: 778-785
Gabe: 786-794
Chris: 792-796
Sherwin: 860-865
Nathan: 866-871
John Valera: 569-574 and 1018-1022
John Hauer: 495-497
And some random guys that wanted me to post the pictures on RideSFO: 580-599

For the awards, just roll through the pictures numbered 1035-1086. I should have pictures of Brian D., Brian H., Kelly, Nathan, myself, and Ben. Josh, sorry I missed you, man. We were all over at our trucks hanging out and didn't even realize they were doing awards until 5 minutes after they started!

Again, I'll post up the link later this afternoon. I think I've got about another 3-4 hours of uploading to do.

Haha... I saw that picture and thought you'd like that one.

Grant is leaving for the Air Force in September, but if you see him around, you can thank him. He did all the shooting with my camera.

I will thank him if I see him before then for sure. Thanks to you though Mike! =]

Brian, heh I saw that! We both took the ****ty line. I also didn't take that up and over in the first single track section where the s turns were in my race run. I noticed it in my chainless run. Sonofa.

I am still blown away I rode out of that drift... lol

PS- where is that video of me doing a rennie in a berm?
