hey i got horizontal drop outs on my santacruz and i would like to know if i can put a bmx chain thug with quick release hub

I'm gonna say no, not a good idea at all. If it's a shimano hub or any type with non-sealed bearings, it's easy to switch the QR axle with a solid one. I did this on two bikes because even with the QR super tight, it's just a matter of time before you torque the wheel, lose the chain, and eat the sh*t. Personal experience talking.

yup, surly tugnuts come with a washer/spacer to use it with a qr instead of a solid axle.

if you are running just a free wheel or a gusset thing get a gauntlet ( htp private part) will save you alot of money from breaking free wheels and you can pull some new grinds i got one on my geek house
