Havent been on in a while and now there is this checking and savings thing.Can someone tell me what it is ,how it works and do I need to pay attention to it?Thanks.

Be a postwhore, and you build up credits.
Put your credits into savings, and watch most of them not show up.
Then, use your remaining credits for games that will be showing up sometime in the future.
