For those of you in the Capital Region/Troy, NY area who ride at Gibbs Farm, here's info on the upcoming trail day. Remember, this is private property and the Gibbs have been awesome to let us build and ride on their land. If you go there, stop in to say Hi to Dick/Sheri Gibbs and thank 'em!

Annual mtn bike trail cleanup - Set your alarm for 6:00 pm monday, the day after daylight savings time begins. We will be cleaning up the 4.25 mi singletrack on the farm, the only expert rated singletrack within miles of Albany. If you are going to ride the trail this summer, you should come and help. Wear boots and gloves (other clothes optional). Bring leaf rakes (not garden rakes), loppers and hand operated limb saws. Please do not bring chainsaws or other power tools. We have several chainsaws that will be assigned to qualified users. If you don't have tools thats ok, we have some to lend. Food, bevarages and social hour following the trail cleanup. Come work with the best!
