No, not really. I had one for a little while, put it on the front of a Karpiel Apocalypse just for kicks. It handled like crap and made the front so nose heavy that it would just drop after you hit a jump. Barhumping became the only technique that would allow you to keep the bike level in the air. But it was a great conversation starter and cool in a unique way.
The old school Holeshots were like the current Battle Axe except the upper chainring was mounted on the swingarm pivot like BMW Tmx's, RL's...etc. The new frames have the pivot behind the upper ring axle. I don't know why or what benefit it has.

I was told that he was going to refine the solution into a much lighter frameset. I really liked the look of that bike, a far cry from the battleugly he makes now.
OH MY GOD IS THAT BEUTIFULL. Bill is building up my new downhill rig right now and its gonna be black with all orange highligts. That is amazing...any chance of selling it. Gotta ask
