Collegiate Nationals concluded Sunday with perfect weather for DS racing!

Southeast riders took Div I Men (Weston Pope) and women titles (Lees-McRee) and D-II womens (Joy? Brevard) and second in D-II men.

Last years D-II winner Geoff Fryer from East Tennessee State Univ was taken out in the finals. Bummer.

Congrats to all the riders and glad to see the collegiate scene doing well with some really good slalom courses being built. If you are not aware Clemson, Brevard, ETSU and Lees-McRee all have pimp tracks!

thats not all, Appalachian State took home our first ever overall title for the college! We barely edged out Colorado School of Mines by 10 points for the overall. stoked!

Individual Places include:
Motomike 1st in DH, 5th in DS
Steven 2nd in DH
Mueller 6th in DH, 4th in slalom.

Plus our girl Rebecca missed the start of the xc race and came back and won it on a singlespeed 29er, and got 2nd in the short track, also on the singlespeed, then 5th in DS. There were plenty of other top 10's as well.
