Ok so this weekend a few of us went to REI up in college park. As we are just about to get there I see this crazy Green Bicycle shop

So on our way home we made sure to stop by and check this joint out. All I can say is: Proteus is hands down the coolest bike shop I have ever been in. The owner rocks -

It was the first time we had been there and she made us feel like we had been coming there for years - AND THEY ARE A KONA DEALER!!!

So if you live near college park I would highly recommend dropping by Proteus. I've been to alot of bike shops and this one takes the cake

yeah but about 8-9 years ago they used to suck really bad, glad to hear they are doing things right now.

Yeah Jill is great - she offered us some brownies but I was worried I would fail a piss test so I turned them down.

yea that is a cool bike shop. i would ride to there from my dorm at UMD. I think on thursdays they do a pot luck dinner thing. I could never make it up there though.
