so, my bottem bracket is creaking (its a truvative gigapipe dh) I'm thinking i just need to lube it and tighten it. what type of lube should i use? bering greese or chain lube? thanks.
pull out your b.b. and clean out the threads of your b.b. and then throw some anti seeze on your threads and throw some on your splines for your crank arms and you should be good

Hmmm.. Normal grease - not chain lube, just the Park grease (Polylube 1000 is what it's called, it's just standard bearing grease) works fine, I've never used anti-sieze on my BBs. Only time anti-sieze is really needed is when you're threading aluminum into Ti or something.
Just use a lot of grease and torque it down well. Your LBS should be able to supply you with the appropriate grease.
