Turns out if you cook lots of fatty things on the BBQ you should change out the rocks in the drip tray from time to time, BBQ ended up with flames coming out the igniter holes, it was awesome!

Another day, another pair of GMTs.

My tum tum is still dum dum. Didn’t ride yesterday thanks to time and bad guts. I did get to see my son perform in a mini-musical at his summer camp, which was awesome. So proud of him for getting out there.

Ugh the wires to the seat switch on my mower aren't connecting it's not running when letting the clutch out. So I have two choices. Spend hours disassembling and testing the harness or disable the shut off for all safety systems and run a 1950s style death mower.

Hmm.

Morning Monkeys.

Last night was seriously epic. Foo played for 3 hours. Oddly enough they only played like a dozen songs, but the crowd participation is what sells it.

Their very first show was in Portland in '95 at the Satyricon for like 100 folks. Shits come a long way.

The plan was to go for a ride. 25 mile per hour winds say hell no.

Espresso, clean the camper, then perhaps go fix a flat on a work vehicle. Actually the only reason I would go do that is that I am out of edibles and my favorite dispensary is a block from the the disabled van.

Not quite halfway through my planned ride, 45 miles, 5500ft climbed.

Garmin says 55 with 7500ft to go...

New bike tires have been tested. OK so far.

Had a hell of a time seating the rear, with the large repaired dent in the rim. These continentals have a much stiffer bead than the Maxxis that came off - basically no flex to conform to the slight hump. Had to bring it to a shop to use their air compressor. Was worried I was going to be tubing it and due for a new wheel sooner than I planned.

Almost beer time.
