Has anyone had any issues with these headsets? I've been riding mine for about a month and I could never get it set right.
After more careful examination I realize that the top bearing is eith too big or the race in too small. There is about 1mm of play which translates to 1 shtti ride!

Any thoughts?

I'm probably going with a Chris King 1.5 w/preloader or Cane Creek DoubleX next but I need a stranger to justify it for me.

So... justify my love -

I've run a few Cane Creek XX and XXCs. Ok for a bit, then the bearings die a nastycrunchy death after a season.

Replaced with Kings, couldn't be happier.

If you invest in a king headset, make sure to have your headtube reamed and faced.
Slight misalignment of the bearings on a super-precise headset like a king will make it 'splode just like a poorly-made one.
