i like number 3 of lessons learned.
If the river stops, do not walk across it to get a better camera angle. It will soon turn back on and separate you from your boat.
haha taking one for the team to get a better camera shot. That's kinda like heading further out on the beach towards the receding ocean when a tidal wave is comin in.
