3 easy steps to getting red rims of your choice:

1)acquire rim of your choice

2)paint stripper (just sandpaper if its anodized)

3)paint red.

as long as you use an alright aerosol paint, it would be fine. and if it chips, just paint it again. or change the colour as you wish. :D

How about those transition rims? are they any good? I've been trying to find some reviews for them but I haven't been able to.
They're a generic Taiwanese rim called Kin Lin or something of that nature.

They're just wide, fairly solid, and very heavy cheap rims.

harder alloy, but still soft

plus 07 6.1 have harder alloy, im not saying there not soft, they are, but 2350 are harder, and 2007 are harder as well

PS still like butter you put in the microwave for 15 seconds then take out
they haven't changed the material at all, just the shape.

Transition would like to denie that. In the freeride forums there was talk about these rims, apparently they arnt so generic.

And Eren...SHHHH...your rims= poo, and you know it.

In the hills around Seattle
Sun used to offer what I think was a Rhyno-Lite that was red ano. But they machined the sidewalls so they were the silverish color.
I would kill for a set of those rims un-machined, just pure red ano...

Is powdercoat heavy? You can find places to 'coat somthing of a rims size for quick cheap, and its quite durable. Even less money if you strip it yourself.

you can paint any rim red. Get the rim you like, take some time and paint it. Dont forget to use a clear too. I have done this myself in the past. It works well, I used Mavic.
