I cant find ONE store which is sellig "cheap" 04 Demo9's, so pleas help me...
Very interested in geting me one...
That was what I saw on the showroom floor at Supergo Mtn View. You can get the number off their website. They had maybe 3 frames, and I didn't check sizes. I'm not in the market so I didn't take the best look. Maybe it was $1699...Yeknomedir said:Can anyone send a number of a shop that's got em on sale for the quoted price above? The cheapest I've found so far is $3300...
the pro was silver though...how much for a complete? That's what I'm looking for.bibs said:I talked to the guys at my bikeshop, they said 1600.00 for a frame, last years pro(all black) or Center cycole in Renton washington, they can get them cheap too! Not sure of their pricing.
How bout you let me post wut i want because you don't know anything about me.TheInedibleHulk said:A) dont give out wholesale costs
B) unless you own the shop, dont go offering "sick deals" to complete strangers
Two just general rules of good bike shop employee etiquite
So that would be about $3300 with tax and shipping...hmmm. Wish I wouldn't of bought afew other things otherwise I'd be giving them a call. Oh well, hopefully there's a few around in a month or two for that price!static9 said:And as for the lowest price the offramp in mtn. view has a medium for $3000
I don't know how because employee costs are near 3000. Wholesale is much more, how can shops be selling them for less than they paid? I have one I have ridden twice that I have to sell and I wont sell it for less than 3800. It's a medium by the wayYeknomedir said:Can anyone send a number of a shop that's got em on sale for the quoted price above? The cheapest I've found so far is $3300...
The 2004 pro is the lesser of the two, you are correct, but the 2005 line says the pro is the top of the line now. Sorry for the confusion.quickneonrt said:sorry but you are wrong, the demo 9 pro is the less expensive of the two. The Pro comes with front shifter, derailer, cheap pedals, and the 888RR witch has no compression adjustment and swinger 4 way rear. The DH has the 888r, blackspire chain guide, and the new specialized pedals and the swinger 6way which in my opinion is overkill anyway. The money you save buing the Pro you can get a chain guide and a better headset cause they both come with that cheapo hs
Do they have any homepage?NCBigHit said:Franklin Street Cycles in Chapel Hill NC has a pro and a dh. I believe the prices are 2700 for the pro, 3300 for dh. Phone number is 919-929-0213. It's my LBS and is a great shop.
even the weight doesen't matter rode it with Rohloff Speedhub , first with a Shiver than with an 888R.quickneonrt said:only con is the weight, otherwise it's an awsome bike. find yourself a pro since it is considerably less expensive then the dh. all you need is a chainguide
