DHdiva is a real nice person to deal with. This bike would fit ya for a long time. For the price it cant be beat. I bet she would work on the price for ya too. The bike is practically new. It would be one hell of a racer.

That is a SUPER nice bike, - I was actually going to buy it for myself before I found out it was a small size.....a super deal :thumb:

A small DHS is fairly big. It would fit a 5' to 5'10" rider depending on if you like a smaller bike or not. It would fit me perectly, as I am 5'9" and I love smaller bikes.

You could put two rings on it and shift by hand. I have a few buddys that do that with their DH bikes. Use the 22 on the way up and when you get to the top switch it over to the the 36 or 38 and DH you go. Not bad really. I would love to have that bike.

Like i said in the other topic. I'm 14 weigh 120 about 5'7 and will have this bike for a while. I am reallllllly lost about what to get. I have $4500 i can spend, but want to build up. I'm the type of person that whips around the DH course i'm always trying to stay in the air so i want something EXTREMELY flickable. Weight isnt really an issue. I'll also be doing some freeride on this, and climbing SOME hills(i'll be clipped in if that helps in the decision) I'm getting an R9 in a week to demo but it think that it will b to much bike for me to handle. ALSO what fork should i strap on? i was thinking 05 shiver?

I was refering to Kleinmp99. He was trying to be funny or a smart a$$ by posting what you were looking for. ;) I was just refering to what you also said later... that you were going to race.

Now that you're pretty set on the gemini, I'll submit my thoughts on the AS-X, it's got pretty much the same angles, way lower BB and a little more weight, but honestly when I got my AS-X I was only 150 (I'm about 160 now that I have a job and don't have time to ride anymore) and I don't have any problem riding it, setup with an '02 super T and a run of the mill build elsewhere it's around 38 pounds I think. The biggest thing I notice between the AS-X and bikes like a Bullit or a Gemini is that the suspension feels way softer because of that little linkage. If you get a chance to bounce around on an AS-X side by side with either a bullit or gemini I think you'll see what I mean. Anyway either bike would be great, I'm convinced that speed is determined by the rider's fitness more than the bike, I ride with a few guys who work part time and ride full time on some pretty gnarly trails, they're on 5 spots, hecklers and the like but they can still plow through the chop faster than I can on my AS-X just because they're in shape enough to finesse the bike, I just plow into stuff and loose a lot of speed although I am supposed to be riding the superior bike for the type of terrain.
