If Sugar is open and letting bikes on the lift, you will be three years older when you get to the top.
No real lift serviced DH but we have some world class shuttles. If you're feeling like a decent drive (~6 hours or so), Windrock is the place to go. Post up in the south forum and we'll show you around. 
if you want to ride in the rdu area mid week hit me up via pm and I will show you around or at least be able to tell you where to ride. Most everything from RDU to Pisgah is 5" bike fun so that is what I would bring as opposed to a full on DH rig
