Ill stick to my NiteFlux Extreme at 1350 lumens, $399, and super light.

I want to see more about their new Pmini. Looks like a triple XPG. 1000 lumen claimed but its probably really around 800 lumens but the lighthead is super small and only 40 grams. It says estimated RRP is $499-699 AUD on the preorder which is a HUGE rip off even if you take the 10% GST off which I assume international orders don't pay.

One of the reasons the Niteflux products have light lightheads is the electronics are in the battery which is more trouble than its worth (harder to operate light, batteries cost more, and you can't buy any brand of a battery you want after your stock battery dies or if you need a backup battery for whatever reason).

Ya the Pmini looks nice. You can buy Niteflux in the US. I hear ya about the electronics in the battery though. I just like the majority of the weight in my pack.

Man and I thought we were brutal about DW,Sundays, Evil bikes, boxxers/888s and copying e-13... Never knew we were a bunch of closet light pirates too...Ready to do battle at the helm of whatever lumen crosses are path! :D

LOL well now its out there and its time to start a DH light thread that is current and beneficial being as it gets dark and alot of us ride at night plus ride MX, snowmobiles etc...

I think SYADASTI should lead the charge on that based on knowledge and mediation skills. Id like to see a compilation of what pertains to DH/FR not xc, road or commuter.

BTW speaking of mx/snowmobiles the baja designs can plug directly to the power supply on bikes and snowmobiles so no running on a battery.
