Hey, I have to be out that way this fall and I'm trying to find local shuttle spots and people to ride with. Let me know if you've got the goods. Happy to help out with digging and maintenance too. Shoot me a PM.

I've ridden the SB trails (and plan to do so again) but I haven't explored the mountains this far north. I know there's supposed to be some hairy stuff up toward SLO but the closer to Santa Maria the better.

There is no mountain biking in SLO, sorry. Santa barbara is way better.

SLO is all groomed fire roads. Nothing tech at all. And there are certainly no ultra-steep hang on to your handlebars for dear life descents.

Seriously though, I don't know of much DH in the Santa Maria area but SLO has a bunch if you ask around...
Nothing in SLO is shuttleable though.

Yeah, I've heard people are extra protective up that way to keep it from becoming blown up like SB. Google earth here I come.
