Do you need a special facing bit to face a titanium frame headtube, or will the stndard facer do the trick? the only reason I ask is beacuse I know titanium is a harder material, and didn't want to ruin a bit. Thanks!

Shouldn't be any problem with a good manufactured tool for the job!... i've done it on both TI frames that i've had- both were done with Campy's tool- and the same tool has done 100's of frames since then at my LBS...:)

Well, just a word of caution. According to a tool sharpening guy, if the tool isnt super sharp, it won't cut Ti and it will dull the tool. If the tool has a lot of use on it, get it sharpened first.

Ti is one of the worst metals to machine /drill or cut ,you must have a sharp tool or you will do more harm than good ,btw what kind of frame is it
