That is probably a stretch, politicaly havi g an evangelical on the ticket was necessary to attract the conservative Christian who were not likely to warm up to a womanizing new yorker.
The entire GOP is compromised. I keep saying it, the Russians hacked the GOP too. Look at the 180 Lindsey Graham has pulled in the last 6 months. He's compromised, they all are. Manafort is irrelevant is this regard.
Edit to add:. There is definitely something in Pence's closet. Its probably what is being used against him in fact. Graham too. If there happend to also be a skeleton, I'd chalk it up to coincidence more than anything.
I don't buy it. I sincerely doubt Pence has the spine to do something so brazen, even anonymously. He'd have to get Mothers permission.
