heard a rumor that the CCP might be trying to help d2s, or that he's trying to get their help? that's not a major conflict of interest for a political candidate.

But why? When I have bills and shit to pay, I typically don’t just magically get them reduced or deadlines extended. And certainly not without a damned good teason…

Didn't you mean "treason"? :clue:

I honestly don't know how anyone is supposed to see this obviously grossly corrupt, two-tiered system, and not think its time to burn it to the ground and start over.

I think the hesitation to burn “it” to the ground and start over is that part of “it” surely includes us and our lives as we know them.

Let me get my flame-suit on for this next comment…zipppp and ready now. Weren’t the perpetrators of January 6th trying to burn it down and start over too?

By no means am I saying that those scumbags were in the right. What I am saying is that I don’t trust American society to “burn it down and start over” without landing us in an even worse place…

…perhaps you were just talking in hyperbolic rhetorical abstract…?

no, they were trigger happy sore losers who got conned by a known con man trying to undermine one of the core principles of democracy.

Eh, you know what? That's totally fair criticism.

While I was being mostly hyperbolic, I was, and remain pretty pissed about a flagrant miscarriage of justice that no man of lesser means or influence would ever be able to attain.

I guess I would argue however that one such reaction remains rooted in fact and legal finding, while the other is based on fantastical conspiracy peddled by con-men and loons abetted by foreign powers seeking to instill chaos.

Just out of curiosity... what *technically* is the difference between hush-money paid to a porn star for silence and $$ simply paid to a porn star for sex?

I'm starting to think we should be referring to the former president as Don the John.

Maybe I'm missing some nuance?

"It's very important and very important to me," Trump says in the video. "I want to have a lot of people have it. You have to have it for your heart, for your soul. Many of you have never read them and don't know the liberties and rights you have as Americans, and how you are being threatened to lose those rights.
