Are Marla Streb's trails done? I heard she was building a bike park down there.
Damn I didn't know there was any riding there. I was there for 2 weeks in March.

I recently contacted Marla Streb and she told me that they were going to make the trails in December and by Febuary there might be some open.
watch out for the scorpions my gf had a close encounter out on the trails.
My parents have a house there(actually they come back tonite from CR), and there can be a lot to see. I hooked up with some local MTBers a while back and actually did a lot riding there a few years back.
The worst thing was it's a tropical country meaning it rains heavy almost daily in the mountains. In the summer the only difference is it rains later in the day, and less intense. They don't call them rain forest for nothing.
You can pretty much shuttle anywhere, and if you respect the area, no one will care much. For the most part you gotta get your riding done by mid-day most of the year before the rain comes down.
