I dented my 4.2 rim and now will need to fix it sooner or later, does anyone know if the new XR400 is a better rim or just a new model name.

4.2 rim? Isn't that the Specialized OEM rim?

I can definitely confirm that the rims made for Specialized suck.

It's the XR4.2d in white, it isn't a specialized model.

I have no experience with the XR400 but by looking at the specs and doing a quick search it seems that the 400 is the replacement for the 4.2.
