Go with a black fork. You switch bikes too often and black goes with all colorwayz.Ronnie, on a more "serious" note.
Will you guys possibly offer custom ano jobs on these things too ?
possibly laser etching on top
Yeah man, just buy some monster stickers. Problem solved. You can be seen in public now.Anyone bitching and moaning about the color or look of the fork better not also wear pajamas when you ride.
Well, I win - because its coming in black; all you white coveters can get the bo0o0o0ozakAnyone bitching and moaning about the color or look of the fork better not also wear pajamas when you ride.
In this case, considering purple to match the rest- yeah i know vain and girly, but i ride slow, i prefer to look pimp doing itWhat exactly woiuld you be looking for?
So the exact opposite of what buddy above you wants? That will make it easy for DVO to accommodate all it's potential new customers.removable stickers please
if i wanted something made by Paul Jr Designs, id contact him directSo the exact opposite of what buddy above you wants? That will make it easy for DVO to accommodate all it's potential new customers.
thats the funniest/dumbest things ive heard on the internets..even with all my postsI dont know why everything has to be so either just one or the other with you, but hey i cant argue with your postcount. you win at this internet DH.
In the meantime im sure DVO can decide what might and what might not be something they would consider.
do you talk just to hear yourself speak? like theres NO ONE else who doesnt disagree with something in this thread.
I am not to sure of how custom we are going to be able to get with each fork. The decals on the sliders will be removable, but we are still trying to decide on exactly how we want to release the CTA. We have a lot of request for the decals to be clear coated on the CTA right now. soooo many options to take into consideration before the Emerald even touches a bike.In this case, considering purple to match the rest- yeah i know vain and girly, but i ride slow, i prefer to look pimp doing it
Lasering i know is possible, a good lasering can add almost photo like renderings on ano surfaces.
Sure it will hurt resale, at this point im looking for a fork i can keep for some years which is where DVO comes in(granted its as good as i hope- so being on par with the current 888 evo TIs is key)
this is an example of laseretching on ano, and on a round surface- note this is not what i want, but it shows the potential.
Hell it could be the DVO name etched in there, along with some stripes or similar, all the process really does is remove the colouring pigment from the anojob, so its not detrimental to the durability of the coating.
Its just a request really to add a layer of custom to a fork, and unlike the big companies, small ones like DVO can probably make it happen within a reasonable price, cos it doesnt need to go through 50 boardmeetings to be decided, ya know
you clearly do not remember the hideous marzo decals(or paint job, whatever it was) they shoved down our throats for a while......this is an example of laseretching on ano, and on a round surface- note this is not what i want, but it shows the potential...
Didn't you know that aesthetics is the most important step in a design process?!What the ****, are you people seriously debating on stickers?
From DVO's perspective, if that's all we have left, then they're doing a pretty good job I guess. What the ****, are you people seriously debating on stickers?
How dare you beat me to posting my own link!! Now I have to find something really creative to do today. Or I will just post my link anyway....Looks like some lab tasting is finally happening!

ronnie - any info you can give regarding the 'very special shock eyelets' mentioned in the vital slideshow a while back? i'm assuming it's not simply polymer DU's, spherical or needle bearings because, well those aren't 'very special'.
