The Eastern States Cup #6 DH MTB Series Race marks the halfway point in the series for 2011 at Plattekill Bike Park. What better way to mark this weekend than to race at Plattekill? It is one of the original birthplaces of DH mountain bike riding and racing in the USA. The racecourse is being kept under wraps for this event. The word at the mountain is the trail crew has been building this track especially for this race. You know if its at Plattekill it will be steep, loose and FAST ! No flat long boring courses at this mountain.
Come to Plattekill and join the rest of the ESC regulars for a fun weekend. The ESC strives to be a fun, family oriented race series. The people that run this series also race and understand what the racers want in value, courses and locations. 2011 is proving to be a very successful year for the ESC and we want you to join us to see why. Thank you to those that already have supported the series.
Every race will feature a wrap up POC Video of the Weekend, produced by VonCooper Productions. The video will keep race weekend highlights available for a reminder when the colder months set in. The Nema Team Challenge is heating up with 11 teams trying to capture part of the $1000 Nema Team Challenge purse. The Nema Team Challenge standings are very close and the top positions are still up for grabs.
As an added incentive to be there this weekend, Hookit.com and Monster Energy are rolling the Spots and Sessions tour into Plattekill for the Eastern States Cup Race #6. The tour has already traveled over 5,000 miles visiting legendary tracks, parks and spots in the southern California, San Francisco, Tahoe, Portland, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland areas. The tour has hooked up members at over 50 spots with product and giveaways from Hookit, Monster Energy, Piranha X, Osiris, GoPro, Spy Optics and AXO. Monster will be recruiting for new members of the Monster Army. Make sure to stop by the display area.
