Ok I didn't realize that Ellsworth makes only two sizes of the dare. What kind of Fox shock are you talking about?

Isn't the 3 way an air shock? Isn't that an odd choice for a Gnar-gnar hucker bike?

Its the Rc I checked. My last Dare was a small but my specialist is a large and i feel great on both. i never rode a large dare so I dont know if I've missed anything. i also dont fully understand the difference between the frames from a design stand point. Is 05 better than 04 or not neccesarily

Which one were you on before? Did it feel big or small to you. Did you ever yearn for a quicker handling bike? A more stable bike?

How the hell are we supposed to answer that question?

I would also not advertise on the internet that I'm going to sell the frame after a company "totally takes care of" you. As much as I dislike Ellsworth (and I dislike him A LOT), they would be well within their rights to revoke whatever offer they put on the table if they see you bad-mouthing them and planning to seel whatever hook up they give you...

I agree with that logic. 05 it is. More important than all of that though Ellsworth totaly honored there waranty and took care of me. There's nothing bad I can say. I cracked a frame, they replaced it without any runaround, what more can you ask for. I sent it in last Wed. and by this Fri. i'll have a brand new frame. There's no other company I can think of that would do that for me. I dont know what the story is on anyone elses warranty issue, but if this is what a lifetime warranty is worth, paying $2500 for a frame aint that bad. I'm on #2 that = $1250 ea.

Im not selling anything, although it cant be helped if other people suggest that. I have a bike to get me through the season and beyond, thats all I care about. The only other frame I can see myself getting on is a Canfield Bros. signature and there a 3yr. waiting list for one of those. Ellsworth it is.
