evolution with 7 inch super-t?

I believe that any fork with over 5" of travel voids the warranty. However, I have seen some people riding DS1's with 6"-7" forks withno problems that I am aware of, plus I think the Evolution II is stronger than a DS1.

I wouldn't do it. A T with a 7" dual crown fork is pretty, well, dumb. I'm not sure how someone with a FS (and a good one at that) would be willing to switch to a hardtail and still put a 7" fork on it. It just doesn't make sense. Well, unless all you do is ride smooth trails with really huge hucks. Otherwise, if you're planning on doing any other type of riding, buy a used FS.
