Fat Tire Festival
IMBA is coming to Houston for 10 days in January as part of their Hot Spot program. As part their visit, GHORBA is working on putting together a Fat Tire Festival. Events will include a time trial, breakfast, lunch, a poker ride, bike demos, SWAG, a raffle, good beer and a great band. Saint Arnold Brewing looks to be on-board, and discussions with bands, including Moses Guest, are already happening. We've reserved the place at Double Lake in the Sam Houston National Forest (near Cleveland) with camping available for groups. We really want to make this an awesome event and would love to see people from Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and beyond come hang with us in H-town. And more importantly, come meet and talk to one of IMBA's trail care crews. Cost will likely be $25-30/person for everything with proceeds going to GHORBA and a couple of other charities.
